Decorating Tips:
Decorate with acrylic paints, chalk paints, acrylic paint markers, ink pads (we love using Distress Oxides), alcohol markers, pencils, waxes, crayons, spray paints, texture pastes, rice papers, napkins & papers — add your own embellishments and more. To make it waterproof, use a good waterproof clear varnish like a yacht varnish to avoid MDF warping in damp or humid conditions. If storing, keep sealed, flat, and away from direct sunlight, heat, or moisture.
Safety Disclaimer:
These MDF lanterns are for decorative use only and must not be used with real candles or open flames. For safety, use battery-operated or LED tealights only. Using real candles may cause fire or heat damage to the MDF material.
