Decorate with acrylic paints, chalk paints, acrylic paint markers, ink pads (we love using Distress Oxides), alcohol markers, pencils, waxes, crayons, spray paints, texture pastes, rice papers, napkins & papers, add your own embellishments and more. To make it waterproof, use a good waterproof clear varnish like a yacht varnish to avoid the MDF warping in damp conditions/high humidity areas. If you are storing this item for a while keep it sealed, store flat and away from direct sunlight & direct heat or damp areas. MDF is absorbent and will warp if not stored correctly.
