How our CD/USB/ Download Collections work

Our CD/USB collections/kits offer unbeatable value for money - they include 100's of images all based around and co-ordinating to different themes. A CD/USB kit can be purchased on an actual physical CDrom or USB stick. We ship this to your home.

In addition, we also offer our CD and USB kits in DOWNLOADABLE format for anyone who can't wait for the kit to be shipped.

Our CD kits are in one of 2 formats when you receive them, whether it's a download or cd-rom/usb:

1. Until November 2017 our kits were formatted to use in a special menu program which opens up on a PC and allows you to navigate through a pretty menu to look at the various sections of the kit.  We no longer offer this menu but older kits will still include this.

You cannot view this menu if you are a Mac user. BUT you CAN still access ALL the files and images in the kit.

PC users - using a physical CD:

Double-click the yellow 'CD' icon and the menu will run for you. This is the Autoplay.exe file.  You will view all the files/images through the menu program. Just click what you see and it will open in your standard printer/images program you use on your own PC - we do not control this, it will simply open the JPG/PNG/PDF you select and you just print as normal. Choose whatever program you want from your PC to print the images.

If you don't wish to use the Menu program, in Windows Explorer or My Documents find the CD in the root folder/drive, navigate through the folders until you reach the 'IMAGES' folder. This will contain hi-res and low-res images, only use the hi-resolution images and click to print as if you were opening an image in Windows Explorer.

PC users - using a download:

Download the file - you will receive a single, zipped file.  Collections are BIG files, often 500MB - make sure you allow the download time to complete properly - a file this size will take at least 5 mins even on a fast internet speed. If you try to unip before it's complete you will get errors.

IT IS EXTREMELY RARE for us to have issues with download files where it's a faulty file or website - we sell 1000s and 1000s of downloads and we know as soon as it goes on sale if there is a file issue or something wrong because we would have 100s of complaints immediately. Problems with downloads are 99% user error (not downloading fully or unzipping correctly) or errors with servers and internet connections being slow, which we have no control over. We are not itunes and can't afford to spend 1000s and 1000s of $$ on huge servers each month. Our servers are setup for the maximum speed it can go but at times we do get extremely busy and this can cause issues when lots of people are downloading large files at the same time. If this happens, please download later. Mornings in the UK and Europe are much quieter times to download whilst the US is asleep and if you're in the US/Canada late evenings are the ideal time for you to download when the rest of the world is asleep.

3. EXTRACT ALL (if you don't, you will not see all the files and will get errors) - YOU MUST USE THE EXTRACTED FILES. Once you've extracted you do not need the original files.

This will contain hi-res and low-res images, only use the hi-resolution images and click to print as if you were opening an image in Windows Explorer.

Mac Users - using a physical CD:

The Menu Program is not compatible with mac/ipad etc.

In the Mac Finder, just navigate through the folders until you reach the 'IMAGES' folder. This will contain hi-res and low-res images, just use the hi-resolution images and click to print.

LOST YOUR FILES, NEW PC/LAPTOP, FILES CORRUPTED?

No problem! Just login to your account on the website and you will find all your Orders in your Order History on your account. You can download your purchases any time, for life* whenever you wish, so you never have to worry about losing our downloads.

We do recommend if you buy a lot of downloads that you store them on an EXTERNAL DRIVE (not a USB stick).

USB sticks can be a bit unreliable unless they are very good quality which are more expensive - so they can fail regularly.  It is much more cost effective and a safer option to put your files on an external drive. We highly recommend Seagate drives, you can purchase them on Amazon from £20 depending how much space you need.

(*Lifetime access to downloads: if we ever decide to change the website we may not be able to transfer order histories for accounts which might mean loss of access. However if this happens we will pre-inform all customers via email with a period of time for you to download and save your files before the website is moved.)
