Learn techniques, hints and tips, together with a little bit of inspiration at our friendly card making classes. Classes run on the first Saturday morning of each month in Acomb, York.
Nikky always tries to ensure that she teaches something new each time and the classes are technique-based rather than "glue and stick" like many other classes, whether it be rubber stamping techniques, distressing, paper folding or many of the other methods of card making we all know and love.
Classes will be held at:
Methodist Church Hall, Front Street, Acomb, York YO24 3BX(approx 500 yards from Morrisons and the Library). Parking is available.
Time: 10.15 - 12.15 sharp - As the hall is charged for by the hour we cannot wait for latecomers so if you are late you will have to catch up on your own!
PAYMENT/DEPOSITS: All classes MUST be paid for in full prior to commencement.
Places will not be kept without a deposit.
Refunds for non-attendance will only be given if notice is received at least 5 days prior to the class as we must have minimum numbers to ensure the class is viable. Apologies if this seems harsh but we still have to pay the venue if the class does not run unless we can give the church notice in plenty of time. If we cancel the class for any reason a full refund will be given.
All project materials and tea/coffee will be supplied but please bring:
Variety of Glues (3D Foam/Silicone Glue, Double-sided tape, gluestick, gluedots, pva - you will need them all at some stage!) (PLEASE NOTE: Glue will not be supplied if you forget but may be available for purchase)
Scissors, Ruler and Craft Knife
Cutting Mat
Pencil and colouring pens (ie Sakura/Watercolour pens/Marvy/Tombow etc etc)
To save sharing and waiting we also recommend that if possible you bring: Clear embossing inkpad, Black Stazon Inkpad although there will be some in class if you need them.
